| Rope bridge building is something that we try to do in the fall. Some are more elaborate than others. The scouts seem to enjoy it more when it goes over the water, but that depends on the site we are at. |

| Canoeing is something that we work on all year, with basic lessons in the fall, while the water is still warm enough. |

| In the winter we try to get at least two camps in so the scouts can learn the skills needed for cold weather camping. |

| Spring brings us back to canoeing again with more lessons before we go on a canoe trip. |

| Spring is also time for the district camp which is usually enjoyed by all who attend. If planned right, you may have your scouts going to bed early. |

| Before school is out we hit the road and go on a canoe trip. We aren't done for the year yet though, because we usually get together through the summer to work the fair and the festival. |
